“a generous kingdom” exhibition, verum ultimum art gallery

castor & pollux, 2021
“I was immediately captured by Lev L. Spiro’s “Castor and Pollux”… and like the spinning of silk, Lev creates a visual web of intense beauty. There is depth in his soliloquy of focus. One where he sees many worlds within this world. He discovers universes that most of us ignore. These places (plants, flora, etc.) are the stories, the myths, the legends, the gods, and goddesses for his stage. The melody of movement in the darkness of the backdrop and the compelling composition…pure drama! And yet, the image is somehow familiar and completely unknown (at the same time). In this way, we are the visitors; and we require his lens to transport us into the realm.”
